Pupils at Omega Multi-Academy Trust schools are making a positive impact on their local communities by organising food collections for those in need.

As part of their Harvest celebrations, schools have been collecting donations for various charities across Warrington, supporting local families during this important time of year.

Park Road Community Primary School has partnered with WA5 Good Neighbours to collect donations from both families and the local community. These donations will be used to create food parcels, which will be delivered to families in need.

Children at Westbrook Old Hall Primary School have been supporting Warrington Foodbank with their own collection, which will be picked up next month to help families across the town.

At Chapelford Village Primary School, pupils have also been collecting food donations for Warrington Foodbank, including tinned meats, vegetables, and jams. During their celebration, the school hosted a special visit from a refurbished 1958 tractor, giving the children the chance to learn more about the journey their food takes from farm to table.

We are incredibly proud of the hard work and generosity shown by our children and their families as they help make a real difference in their communities.
