Students at Great Sankey High School took centre stage this week with a successful three-night run of the classic musical Annie, performed to audiences of family members, friends and visiting local primary schools.
The production was the result of months of preparation and rehearsals, bringing together students from across the school in a shared creative effort. Pupils worked collaboratively as performers, musicians and members of the technical crew to stage the well-known musical, which features songs including Tomorrow and It’s the Hard Knock Life.
The performances highlighted the commitment and teamwork of the young people involved, with students from different year groups contributing both on stage and behind the scenes.
Audience members filled the hall across all three nights, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere and offering strong support throughout the performances.
The Annie performances contributed towards Great Sankey High School’s programme of student-led creative productions, showcasing the talent and dedication of students and staff.
