As the school year draws to a close, pupils and staff across Omega Multi-Academy Trust are taking a well-earned moment to celebrate their achievements, creativity, and community spirit.

Taking time to celebrate our success and have fun is an important part of the school year, giving everyone the chance to recognise their hard work, build community spirit, and remember that learning is about joy as well as achievement.

At Great Sankey High School, Year 7 were treated to an unforgettable spectacle: The Masked Singer – Great Sankey Style! Six mystery staff members took to the stage in full costume, performing hits from Shakira to The Killers, while the hall rang with cheers and laughter. Pink Pony (revealed as Mr Riley) stole the show with a winning performance of Pink Pony Club. Judges Mr Evans, Mrs Cosgrove, Mrs Masher, and Mr McCann had their work cut out, while Miss Mullin dazzled as the event’s brilliant organiser and host. Special guests included Year 7’s Koby with a stunning West End number, and band The Eagle, who had everyone on their feet.

Meanwhile, at Chapelford Village Primary, Year 6 pupils showcased their hard work and talent in The Greatest Show end-of-year performance. After weeks of singing, dancing, and learning lines, pupils proudly shared their creativity and confidence with families at Barrow Hall Theatre. Celebrations continued for St Patrick’s House, who topped off the term with an afternoon beach party to mark their house victory.

Park Road Community Primary School brightened up their school grounds with their annual Flower Show. Under the guidance of Mrs Preston and the Eco Team, pupils created beautiful and informative flower beds, inspiring the whole community to support the environment. Visitors voted for Most Informative, Most Creative, and Best in Show, before the week ended with their joyful summer concert celebrating every child’s uniqueness.

At Westbrook Old Hall, children have been enjoying great adventures on their end-of-year trips, including Go Ape, Walton Hall Gardens, the Blue Planet Aquarium, and Knowsley Safari Park Meanwhile, Year 6 have been busy preparing for their leavers’ assembly.

Pupils at Burtonwood Community Primary School lit up the stage with their amazing end-of-year production, The X Factory. The show included acting, singing, and dancing from all the children to entertain family and friends. 

As pupils prepare for a well-deserved break, this week’s celebrations are a testament to their dedication, resilience, and the joy of learning together.
