Celebrating our teachers and support staff

Omega Multi-Academy Trust is proud to join the national Thank a Teacher Day celebrations to recognise the dedication and impact of teachers and support staff across all our schools.
The day provides a special opportunity to shine a spotlight on the individuals who play a vital role in shaping young minds. Whether it’s inspiring a love of learning, supporting emotional wellbeing, or helping build confidence, teachers and support staff consistently go above and beyond.
The Thank a Teacher campaign, led by The Teaching Awards Trust and supported by BBC Education, is a nationwide initiative that recognises the contribution of everyone working in education. The campaign encourages parents, carers, and students to show their appreciation through messages of thanks and special e-cards.
We invited our school communities to take part and the response was overwhelmingly positive, with many thoughtful and sincere messages sent in recognition of the hard work and care shown by staff.
These messages highlighted the role teachers play not just as educators, but as mentors, motivators, and consistent sources of support. Many shared personal stories of how individual staff members have made a lasting difference in their children’s lives.
Examples included:
- Thank you for being my teacher. You are very kind and funny. I'm extremely grateful that you've been my teacher and I don't want it to end!
- The fabulous teachers and support staff couldn’t be any more fantastic!!
- You have been the best teacher I've had throughout the school. You have made me grow in confidence and helped me in lots of subjects when I’m stuck and I wanted to thank you, you're the best.
We would like to thank all our incredible teachers and support staff for their continued dedication and commitment. Your work is seen, valued, and appreciated - not just today, but every day.
