This year’s Anti-Bullying Week was marked with a number of activities across Omega Multi-Academy Trust schools, each promoting the values of kindness, respect, and inclusivity.

At Burtonwood Community Primary School, the Warrington Wolves Foundation visited pupils to talk about the importance of respect, kindness, and inclusivity within their school community. The coaches shared insights on standing up against bullying and how small acts of respect can make a big difference. Pupils then participated in an interactive quiz to reinforce these messages. The day was made even more memorable by an appearance from Wolfie, the club’s mascot, who brought smiles to everyone.

At Westbrook Old Hall Primary School, Odd Socks Day was celebrated with a colourful display at the school gates. Children pegged their brightest and craziest socks to a washing line as part of the activity, which emphasized celebrating differences.

Park Road Community Primary School also welcomed a visit from the Warrington Wolves. An assembly highlighted anti-bullying messages, encouraging pupils to "Choose Respect." The Wolves’ mascot, Wolfie, shared helpful tips such as speaking up and always respecting others.

Chapelford Village Primary School hosted a variety of activities throughout the week, focusing on the theme "Choose Respect". The week began with an assembly led by Mrs. Farrar, who discussed the importance of treating everyone with kindness and dignity, even in difficult situations. Students received stickers that reinforced the key message.

The children took part in activities such as writing Kindness Postcards and creating a Rainbow of Friendship to outline how to be a good friend. Odd Socks Day was also celebrated, where students embraced their individuality through mismatched socks while discussing the value of differences.

Anti-Bullying Week 2024 took place from Monday 11th to Friday 15th November, with the theme: Choose Respect. The week is held every year wit the aim of bringing an end to bullying.
