We are delighted to share the exciting news of yet another successful outdoor Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) transformation project.
Pentagon Play, renowned for their expertise in creating stimulating and innovative play environments, recently completed another project at Westbrook Old Hall Primary School to provide our young learners with an engaging and enriching educational experience outdoors.
Tom Hollingworth, Outdoor Learning Consultant at Pentagon Play, said,
"We are absolutely thrilled to share our latest project at Westbrook Old Hall Primary School as part of Omega Multi-Academy Trust. The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is such a crucial part of a child's development, and we were privileged to be a part of its transformation. Challenges often fuel our creativity, and this project was no exception. Working with the school and trust, we tackled a uniquely shaped area with varying levels, all while ensuring we catered to the seven key areas of learning. The result was a vibrant and engaging EYFS playground that we the children will adore for years to come”
As a trust we have invested further at Westbrook Old Hall Primary School and in addition to the revamp of the EYFS area, the project also included resurfacing the existing Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) at the school. This transformation ensures a safe and all-weather space for playtime and Physical Education lessons, enabling year-round outdoor activities regardless of the weather.
Our commitment to creating spaces that inspire and facilitates learning through play aligns perfectly with our vision of providing the best possible educational environments for every child. We are so pleased with the outcome of this project, which promises to play a vital role in nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning through creative and engaging outdoor experiences.
