We are delighted with the successes achieved collectively by our dedicated students across our high- schools in this year’s GCSE results. Our students at both Alsop High School and Great Sankey High School have achieved excellent results that reflect their hard work, resilience, and unwavering commitment to their studies.
Despite the challenges and disruptions that these students have faced during their education, our students have truly excelled as we acknowledge that grading this year has been adjusted to be more in line with 2019 outcomes. We are exceptionally proud of the achievements of all our students.
As a trust, we are pleased that a significant number of our students have chosen to continue their studies with us and are continuing their education at either Alsop Sixth-Form or Barrow Hall College, based at Great Sankey High School. This is a testament to our commitment to provide high-quality education and will continue to support our students as they transition to the next stage of their academic journey.
Gary Evans, Headteacher at Great Sankey High School, extends his congratulations to all the students, expressing his pride in their achievements. "I would like to offer my sincere congratulations to the entire class of 2023 and the team of dedicated staff across our schools who have played a vital role in guiding and supporting them throughout their education. We wish our young people every success as they continue their journey towards a bright future."
We look forward to following our students' journeys as they progress to the next phase of their education and trust that they will continue to achieve great success.
