As the end of the academic year approaches, pupils across Omega Multi-Academy Trust have been taking their learning beyond the classroom with a wide range of educational visits, residentials and enrichment activities.

At Chapelford Community Primary School, Year 1 enjoyed a memorable day at Walton Hall Gardens, becoming animal experts at the zoo, exploring the botanical greenhouse and creating nature-inspired artwork in the woods. Year 4 pupils travelled to Llandudno for an exciting residential, visiting the Welsh Mountain Zoo, exploring Bronze Age mines on the Great Orme and enjoying seaside activities linked to their learning. Year 6 have also taken part in an African drumming workshop in preparation for their end-of-year production of The Lion King.

At Burtonwood Community Primary School Year 5 pupils put their map-reading and problem-solving skills to the test during an outdoor orienteering challenge.

Residential experiences have also been a highlight elsewhere across the Trust. Bradshaw Primary School's Year 6 pupils enjoyed an action-packed stay at the Conway Centre, tackling low ropes, canoeing, paddleboarding, bushcraft and orienteering while developing confidence, resilience and teamwork.

At Westbrook Old Hall Primary School, Year 6 pupils challenged themselves during their residential visit to Robinwood, while Park Road Community Primary School Year 6 pupils celebrated their final primary school residential at Waddow Hall.

Younger pupils at Park Road also enjoyed a visit to Blue Planet Aquarium, where Year 1 children enhanced their science and geography learning by exploring animal habitats and species from around the world.

From outdoor adventures and residentials to workshops and educational visits, these experiences have created lasting memories while helping pupils develop confidence, curiosity and skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
