MAT Factor 2026

Young performers from across Omega Multi-Academy Trust took to the stage for this year’s MAT Factor.
The annual event brings together schools from across the Trust to showcase the amazing work being done in performing arts.
Held at Great Sankey High School, the evening included a range of talent from primary and secondary pupils. Friends, families, and staff filled the venue to support the performers, who delivered a memorable night of music, drama, and dance.
This very special event highlights the strength of the Trust’s school communities and the value of opportunities that allow young people to express themselves through the performing arts.
This year’s category winners were:
- Years 7–9 Winner: Evie-May
- Years 10–13 Winner: Gabriella
- Groups Winner: Remains (Sam, Alina, Ryan, Isla, and Tristan)
Chapelford Village Primary School pupils took the Primary School award with a stunning performance of Colours of the Wind, combining powerful spoken parts, expressive dance, beautiful singing, and creative use of costumes and flowing fabrics.
A special congratulations also goes to overall winner Kirsty, whose outstanding performance wowed both the judges and audience alike!
The MAT Factor has become a highlight of the year and a fantastic event that brings our Trust community together to celebrate the talents of our young people.
A huge thank you to all the pupils, staff, families, and supporters who made this year’s event such a success.
