Salary: £19.88ph - £7,470 (Grade 8 SCP 28) working 380 hours across the year

We have an exciting new part time vacancy for a Governance Professional to join the Trust and take responsibility for servicing the Local Governing Bodies (LGBs) of five primary schools.

Core Purpose
The LGBs meet every half term, meeting dates are set in July and approved at the last Trust Board meeting of the academic year.

Other Information

Meeting days and times are as follows:

  • Bradshaw PS - Wednesday 4pm – 6pm
  • Burtonwood Community PS - Tuesday 4pm – 6pm
  • Chapelford Village PS - Thursday 2.30pm – 5.30pm (first hour is a curriculum presentation)
  • Park Road PS – Tuesday 4.30pm – 6.30pm
  • Westbrook Old Hall PS – Wednesday 5pm – 7pm

In addition attendance at the following meetings will be required:

  • Chairs Forum one per term (Monday 5pm – 7pm)
  • Governance Conference, one per term (Monday 5pm – 7pm)

Contracted hours over the year will be 380, to allow for agenda preparation, meeting attendance, minute writing, administration and personal CPD.

Meeting attendance will be mandatory on the dates arranged however flexibility will be allowed and the successful applicant will be able to manage their own time for agenda preparation, minute writing, administration and personal CPD.  Prior experience of this kind of role in an educational setting is not essential but is preferable, training can be provided where required.
